MuvStrong’s Small Group Training Classes combine the best elements of 4 separate leading edge fitness training styles; - High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Circuit Training, Functional Training and Strength Training. We pride ourselves on using these methodologies to create a fun, fulfilling, effective and safe group class experience for participants at every training level. This approach to training is one of the most effective ways to burn fat, build lean muscle mass and increase active ranges of motion (mobility). We see this as a great baseline for any successful workout regime.
To showcase MuvStrong's wide array of coaching talents we split our class structure into two sections. MuvStrong’s “Core” Classes (Muv+, Strong+ and OG+) and MuvStrong's Coach Led Classes. MuvStrong’s Core Classes highlight the 4 training methods listed above while our Coach Led Classes focus more on specific coaching techniques and the skills that each coach brings to the MuvStrong Team. Transform your body in a 45 minute CARDIO based high intensity interval training class. Get lean, agile, strong and flexible as we stress your energy systems and increase your endurance. Muv+ combines the best elements of functional movement, HIIT circuit training, and agility exercise. This class boosts your bodies metabolism and increases your aerobic conditioning.
Resistance, power and STRENGTH work unite as we combine bodyweight and weighted exercises to improve strength, build lean muscle mass and burn 100's of calories. Free weights, kettlebells, medicine balls, sleds, ropes and more will be incorporated into this 45 minute full body, strength circuit workout. This class keeps your body burning calories for hours.
OG+ is an open gym, open timeframe, instructor lead circuit style class. Attendees are invited to come into MuvStrong anytime in the open 3 hour training window (OG+ entry closes 45 minutes before the end of class). Upon entry participants will be shown through the days self paced circuit workout. A MuvStrong coach will provide a full demonstration of the movements and guidance with lifts and form along the way.
Elements from our Muv+ and Strong+ classes will be incorporated into this class to give you a great overall strength and cardio conditioning workout. This class is perfect for anyone that doesn’t want to commit to start or end their workout at a specific time in the weekend.
We all like to play and change up our workout. Drop into the “ring”, glove up and punch some stuff. Coaches will help introduce form and combinations to newcomers while helping experienced boxers challenge themselves on mitts and bags. Classes will also get to add in some strength and conditioning work to help develop boxing abilities. This class is for ALL levels of BADASSES.
Functional Training & Bar Class Strength training for athletes who love to challenged their full potential. High metabolic demanded workouts that include but are not limited to safe lifting techniques with barbell deadlifts, barbell squats, box jumps, chin ups/pull ups and cardio work including rowing, biking and jump rope. This class is for intermediate to experienced levels of BADASSES.
HIIT+ is High Intensity Interval Training class, a total body program that incorporates cardio, strength training, core work and mobility. Your entire body will be challenged with high intensity, short duration movements. This class is for experienced levels of BADASSES.
A one hour movement class designed based on principles of alignment and proper body mechanics. We move the body in ways that are both efficient and beneficial for greater health. Class starts with a 10 minute warm up, followed by 30 minutes of active mobility training and we end class with 20 minutes of cardio/strength training work to leave you feeling GOOD.
This class is for ALL levels of BADASSES.
ROW+ is a Rowing Intervals + Circuit training class. Clients will learn proper form on the rower which will be applied to interval training as the primary focus. The secondary portion of this class will focus on circuit style training in a fully body format. The two combined make for an extremely effective 50 minute workout.
This class is for experienced levels of BADASSES.
Wevolve (We Evolve) is a low impact, high energy class that aims to strengthen and build essential core muscles (including the anterior core, posterior chain, hips, glutes and Lats). The strength and metabolic components of the class will include sled work, TRX, kettlebells and rowing. The class will also include some mobility work for the whole body. Wevolve welcomes athletes of all levels and will challenge your cardio fitness to further enhance your overall training objective
YOGA+ is open to all levels of individuals looking for a deep restorative experience to reduce stress and release long held areas of tension in the body. YOGA+ incorporates ageless yoga technique and mindful mobility work to access hard to reach areas of tension in the hips, legs and shoulders. Breath work, focus on alignment and mindfulness of movement create a deeply relaxing experience to bring your body back to feeling good.
Classes are formatted to students' needs. Great for athletes returning from injury or individuals looking to increase range of motion and open the pathways & neurons towards greater health through focused body work.
